Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
Finally, a cool front has blown on over to the sunshine state. Starting saturday morning we felt nice, cool temperatures and overcast skies. Ian had soccer just before noon and by the time we left, we were freeeeeeeeeezing! Windows were thrown open, we opened up the porch for the kids to play and we watched some GREAT football. It was a perfect day. Later that night we lit up the firepit and engaged in one of my favorite activities...making s'mores! Emery, unfortunately, was snug in her jammies in her bed, but Ian busted out his new glow sticks from Papaw & Anna and we sat outside around the firepit. Norah Jones in the background, a nice fire, wine, scarves, socks, a kid running mach 2 in a glowing skeleton shirt with a glow hula hoop and s'mores...a great Saturday night. While the cold front pretty much dissipated today, I know it will be back and there will be many more days of s'mores and glow sticks.
